Bellevue: Best in Bohol

Working as a freelance training and development professional has many perks. One of them is to be able to travel for free. Last May 2014, I was invited to facilitate a team building program in Bohol along with a co-facilitator. My Cebu-based client chose The Bellevue along Doljo Beach on beautiful Panglao Island as their team building activity venue. I was in awe of what Bellevue has to offer. To me it is the best place for a tourist to stay in Bohol, Philippines.

Guest Rooms

The Bellevue has 159 luxury rooms and suites. There are 136 De Luxe rooms with areas ranging from 41-45 square meters. 11 Junior Suites are available and with areas ranging from 71-75 square meters. 2 Premiere Suites have an area of 112 square meters while 5 Bellevue Suites have areas ranging from 100-110 square meters. The lone Presidential Suite has an area of 222 square meters.

Cena

Cena serves Western and Filipino fusion cuisine at the 2nd floor of the Amenity Building.

Flujo Bar

Located at the hotel ground floor, the sunken lobby bar operates from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and can accommodate 96 sitting guests. They serve refreshing summer cocktails, mock-tails, tropical fruit shakes, and bar chow.

Lamian World Cuisine

Lamian World Cuisine serves a buffet of international and traditional Filipino dishes. With a sitting capacity of 180, Lamian serves breakfast from 7:00a.m. to 10:00 a.m., lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The restaurant is located at the ground floor of the hotel.

Marea Al Fresco Dining

A Fisherman's Resort signature seafood restaurant, Marea Al Fresco Dining is perched on the beach front with a spectacular view of the sea. Marea also serves a wide selection of international wines and signature cocktails from its poolside lunge bar. Able to serve 100 sitting guests, Marea operates from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and is located at the ground floor of the Amenity Building.

Other Facilities

Aisde from a 250 meter private beach front, The Bellevue also features an infinity pool, a fitness gym, the Azurea Spa, an entertainment arcade, and the Bellevue Pavilion.
