Chowking happens to be one of my favorite fast food joints in the Philippines. I just love their siomai, the sweet and sour pork, chicharap, and Chinese-style pork chop. But there's a way that I can enjoy more than just one (1) of Chowking's specials without ordering too many dishes at once. All I have to do is order their lauriat meals, which combines Chinese-style fried rice, a main dish, pancit canton, chicharap, buchi, and siomai (for some lauriat meals). The pancit canton that comes with the lauriat meals have a generous amount of other ingredients that include carrots, cabbage, squid balls, pork, and shrimps. While the fried rice also comes with chickpeas, eggs, and leeks.

Chowking Lauriat Meals
There are several Chowking lauriat meals on offer such as the sweet and sour pork lauriat meal, the Chinese-style fried chicken lauriat meal, the golden Chinese-style pork chop lauriat meal, and the lumpiang Shanghai lauriat meal.
My favorite among these four (4) lauriat meals at Chowking is the sweet and sour pork lauriat meal: tender pork slices in delicious sweet and sour sauce with slices of sweet pineapple for the main entree, a generous serving of chicharap, some pancit canton, Chinese-style fried rice, and buchi.

My brother Nathan's favorite on the other hand is the Chinese-style fried chicken lauriat meal: a serving of crunchy Chinese-style fried chicken, pancit canton, two (2) pieces of pork siomai, Chinese-style fried rice, chicharap, and buchi. He doesn't want the buchi so every time we dine in and order lauriat meals, I always get two (2) of the buchi that comes with the meals. The only thing I wished is that this meal comes with pork siomai. But since it does not, I order a set of four (4) pieces of siomai to go along with this lauriat meal. Mostly though, I just eat the peanut butter filling as I don't want sesame seeds caught up in between my teeth.

I also love the golden Chinese-style pork chop lauriat meal which is a plate of delicious and crispy breaded pork chop, pancit canton, Chinese-style fried rice, buchi, two (2) pieces of pork siomai, and chicharap.
