The Yellow Submarine isn't just a Beatles song. It is a real submarine at Mactan Island, Cebu. It is the Philippines' first tourist submarine. Diving to a depth of about 40 meters below the surface of the ocean, the Cebu Yellow Submarine tour is fast becoming a popular activity for tourists in Cebu.

Navigation

The Cebu Yellow Submarine dives to a maximum of 40-feet underwater for it's tour operations although it can actually dive up to 100 feet. The 40-feet limit is set by the maritime administration of the Philippines.

Interesting Sights
The sights the tour offers include a variety of fish, corals and other marine life along the underwater mountain off Mactan island.

Divers' Show
The second half of the experience features divers showing off tricks to submarine passengers. At one point, a diver holds up a puffer fish near the submarine's windows to let passengers have a closer look and take pictures. I have doubts as to whether the blowfish or puffer fish is real especially with how the divers handled them.
Certificate and Photos
A photographer will take photos of you and/or your group before you enter the vessel. This photo will be used in the certificate that will be handed out to you upon completing the submarine tour experience.
