Do some dolphin and turtle watching very early in the morning off Balicasag Island where a marine sanctuary also offers a good site for snorkeling. A common stop for this trip is the sandbar at Isole de Francesco locals refer to as Virgin Island.

Bum Around at Alona Beach

Alona Beach is Bohol's most famous beach destination. It is on the far end of Panglao Island when coming in from Tagbilaran City. The beach is a common jump-off point for those going on an island hopping and snorkeling trip or diving trips during the day. It also comes alive with a lot of activities at night. Enjoy the Sea, Sun, Sand, and Sky at White Beach

When you come to Panglao for the beach, I suggest you skip Alona Beach and instead head into White Beach in barangay Bolod. White Beach is Panglao's true fine grain white sand beach. And it is also a lot less congested compared to Alona Beach. White Beach is also a good jump off point to Pamilacan Island which is part of Baclayon town. the outline of Pamilacan Island can be clearly seen from White Beach on a good weather day.
