Panglao Island is probably
Bohol's most famous destination, particularly Alona Beach. There's more to
Panglao Island than just the beach actually and a popular activity for Bohol tourists is the
Panglao Island land tour, which should rank behind island hopping and the Bohol countryside tour in popularity. Notable stops in this tour are the Bohol Bee Farm, Hinagdanan Cave, Nova Shell Museum, Dauis Church Complex, and of course Alona Beach.
Alona Beach
Alona Beach is simply Bohol's most popular beach destination. It is a party place that can be compared to Boracay Island's Station 2. This place just comes alive specially on weekend nights where there are all kinds of music, fire dances, dining by the beach, massage services, and just about anything one can imagine.

Nova Shell Museum
The Nova Shell Museum at Bon Perfecto Street, Panglao, Bohol is an interesting place to visit. One can learn a lot about shells here. The guided museum tour allows one to appreciate this species of marine life.
Dauis Church Complex
The Our Lady of Assumption Church in Dauis is said to be a miraculous church. A well inside the church is fed by a spring. Water from this well is said to be miraculous and is bottled and given to faithful tourists in exchange for a voluntary donation. The church was heavily damaged during the 2013 Bohol Earthquake and renovation efforts are underway. The privately-funded restoration will probably be the first one to be completed among the Bohol heritage churches that were damaged. The church complex also features the old convent, Cafe Lawis, and the Handumanan Gift Shop. The souffle cake is the specialty at Cafe Lawis.
